When came to pick him up the other kids were playing on the playground and CJ was being held by his teacher, he was yelling Go!Go!Go! It broke my heart because I could tell he didn't want to be there. The rest of the day he was super grumpy. Sorry buddy, going to school is part of growing up.
Day two drop off had me a bundle of nerves. I did not know how it was going to go, was he going to freak out when we showed up? Would he let me leave? To my surprise he just went over and started to play in the sandbox. He was in a good mood when I went to pick him up. Alright little man we can do this!
Day three. Drop off was easy, and at pick up his teacher shows me this picture.
I know this may not look like anything special, but CJ will not sit at a desk, he always is running around trying to look and touch everything. There is my little man sitting at a desk like a big boy! Seeing this filled my heart with joy and brought tears to my eyes. Maybe just maybe CJ will be able to love school and will be able to do activities other kids do.
So excuse me if I spam you with school pictures and updates because this is a very big and exciting change.
