The one thing I always need in the holiday seasons but always run out of is packing tape. Ok don't look at me like I am crazy. I know it may sound weird but I use it all the time and when the holidays come I run out so much faster. Packing up boxes of gifts to mail friends and family. Putting up decorations that I don't want to damage the walls with. I reach for packing tape. All my fuzzy warm winter sweaters are a magnet for dog hair. Packing tape gets rid of dog hair much better then any lint roller I have tried.

Packing tape is great but you don't want to end up with the cheap stuff. Trust me the dollar store packing tape will cost you more in your sanity then the money you saved. I hate tape that rips, as you are trying to unroll it. Or falls of the dispenser. But as much as you don't want to get the cheap stuff, you don't want to spend a million dollars on tape. It is just tape after all. So I skip the name brand stuff, I don't need to pay more for a tape just because of its brand. I was so happy to find a 6 pack of packing tape with a dispenser on
Amazon, that doesn't break the bank but isn't total crap (yeah that's right dollar store tape I'm talking about you) This tape is a full sized roll. Each roll is just shy of 2 inches wide making it great for packing boxes for shipping or moving. It also has 55 yards on the roll. So one 6 pack will last your whole seasons packing tape needs with extra to spare. What I really like about it is the dispenser. It has a nice sharp blade that actually cuts the tape and doesn't cause the tape to rip down the rest of the roll. The tabs on the dispenser hold the tape from slipping back and sticking on the roll. When you need to start a new roll you do not have to fight to find the edge, it has an easy to find red starting point. The tape itself is lightweight, yet strong. It sticks to boxes well and doesn't fall off like other tapes I have tried.

So now that you officially think I'm the crazy tape lady, take a second and think about how much tape you use during the holidays. Go ahead and follow this link to buy your six pack, because you know you need it.
If you still choose to buy dollar store tape you might rethink who the crazy one is now.
*PS- this is not a paid post, but I was given the tape to try out and review. If it sucked it would have told you. But its not dollar store tape so your good.
