Tens Unit for pain relief

I had the chance to try out a tens unit by Santamedical (model PM-180) The unit is compact and rechargeable but does not lack on power. My husband has a medical grade tens unit so I was familiar with how they work. I was a little skeptical at how strong this one would be but was pleased with how great it works. In fact I feel it is a better unit then my husbands very expensive unit from a doctors office. 

It may be tiny but it really puts out strong pluses. If you have never used a tens unit they are a great way to get rid of muscle pain. If your muscles are tight or sore from being over used a tens unit is a great solution. How they work is simple, the unit has sticky pads that you put in the area of pain. These pads give a small electrical shock, don't be scared of that. This does not hurt as a matter of fact it can feel quite good. The unit has adjustable levels so you can make it as strong or as weak as you need. It also has eight different modes you can choose from. Each of these modes puts the electrical shock in a different pattern. You can choose from using two or four pads at one time. The pads stick to your skin well and I did not find it left a sticky residue at all. When they start to not be as sticky as new you can use an alcohol pad and get some of this sticky back., or you can buy replacement pads on Amazon. You can choose to use the unit from 10-60 minutes with an auto shut off. The unit can be charged with a micro usb cable, that comes included.  

Over all I was very happy with the unit, it was small but works just as well and in my opinion it was stronger then a full sized unit. It sells for under $40 on Amazon and ships free with Amazon Prime so it is an affordable unit for anyone.
