Oak Leaf Diffuser
I love using essential oils in my home. My favorite way to use them is diffusing them in the air. I had a chance to try out a new diffuser by Oak Leaf. The diffuser holds 250 ml of water which means you don't have to fill it up as often.

My top two basic car repairs everyone who drives should know.
You need more then just the knowledge on how to do these things, you need the right tools to do the job. Once my husband stopped to help some guys change a flat tire.... and they had no spare!!!! Really nothing? They took it out to make room for speakers! Bad move buddies, they were on a long road in the middle of Texas hours from the next town or any help. So have a your spare tire (not flat!!) and the tools you need to change it, jack and lug nut wrench. The next thing is your battery. This can be tricky, you can keep jumper cables with you but what if there is no other car around? What if your car is in a tight spot and you can't get the second car close enough to your battery? Do you really want to have to try to push your dead car to be able to jump it? I know I sure don't! When I graduated high school and left for college my dad helped me get my car stocked up and prepared. I was going to be an hour away and he couldn't always save me if I needed help. He bought me a jump stater box, this thing was big and heavy and the worst part is I had to drag it inside once a week to make sure it was always charged. I hated that thing, but it saved my butt a few times when my old clunker started having battery problems. I could jump my car and be on my way.
You can still get these same style back up jump start units but why live in the stone age when you can live in today with the super power and tiny battery technology we have today. I was given the opportunity to test out and review a Multi-function portable jump start power-bank. The first thing I thought was I was going to be able to ditch my old bulky and heavy jump start unit. Come on my mom van has enough junk in it, so the less stuff the better. Are you ready for me to rock your world?!
Do you see this tiny box? Look at it! That box holds a whole lot of magic. What is all in the box you ask? Well that is your back up jump starter, a flash light, and hold on there is more (please read that in a cheesy late night infomercial voice) That joker will charge you cell phone or any usb powered item!!! Yes you read that right, this is good more more then just jumping your car and it would fit in my diaper bag! But I would suggest keeping it under the seat of your car. But you live your life.
Look how thin that box is!
This is how it will look when you are using it to jump your car.
The jumper cable unit plugs into this port, which is covered by a protective flap.
Here you can see the usb port and the place you plug in to charge the unit.
Heck yah! It even tells you how much batter power you have left. That way there is never a guess of when you need to charge it.
Push and hold this button to turn on the flash light. Watch my video bellow for all the lights features.
Charge it in your home or in the car.
The video bellow shows off the unit and goes over some of the features.
In the video bellow I really put the unit to the test. I took it over and used it to jump my grandpa's full sized van with a totally dead battery.
My final feelings about the unit. Honestly what is not to love. It is tiny, it packs a punch and it is good for more then just jumping the car. I love knowing I always have a flashlight charged and ready to go. My favorite part is the batter life level. It comes in a great storage box. If I am suck on the side of the road with a dead phone battery I have a way to charge it, because admit it we know how quick a smart phone battery dies.
Follow the boy scouts and always be prepared!
Special thanks to 1byone for my Multi-Function Smart Jump Starter they gave me my unit to review and share my honest and unbiased feelings with you. If the old school one was better, or this one sucked you know I would have told you. But this thing is still rocking my world.
Week Three of School- The dreaded substitute teacher.
Chris is in his third week of school. It's so hard for me to believe that he is in school. The second week of school gave us a few bumps. His teacher and classroom aide where both out with the flu on the same day. For Chris this was too much change all at once, new place, new people, new routine. This lead to some negative behaviors on his part. Bites! I was so upset because we tackled this issue months before and had not had a bite in a long time. Well today he had two subs again. Oh no! This time I knew about it and made sure the subs knew not to take his teether away. This won the bite battle. He was able to use his teether as an outlet for his stress and anxiety of having different teachers. How do your children handle, change in routine and having a sub in their classroom.

Amber Collar for Pets
The healing power of amber has been used in my home for almost 3 years now. It all started with an amber teething necklace for CJ, and then moved to an amber necklace for myself to help aid my migraines. But I never thought to use amber for my dog. Amber Crown introduced me to an amber pet collar to help prevent fleas and ticks! I was so excited to hear about this because I can now ditch the chemical coated collars or monthly chemical drops. Another easy was to get rid of toxins and harmful chemicals and keeping my family safe is always going to catch my interest. The pet collar comes with an adjustable strap to get the perfect fit.
